Minnesota part 2

Here is the second half of the trip! After the wedding and birthday we headed to my parents lake cabin for some summer time fun! We went swimming, went and played at a couple of parks, went for a boat ride and got to play with Magnolia's cousins! Magnolia also got to have a lot of "firsts" as far as food goes. She got to have her first piece of candy, soda, ice cream and pork. Her uncle Matt was so excited to give her some "real meat." I hate to admit it, but she loved it! I was very grossed out seeing my little peanut eating pork, but I guess I have to let go sometime! :)

Minnesota- part 1

Here is a slide show of Magnolia first week and a half in Minnesota. She was such a good little traveler! We got to Minneapolis on June 10th and went straight down to Owatonna to help my dear friend Mariah get ready for her wedding and to throw her a bridal shower. After spending 4 days there Magnolia and I headed up to Duluth to hang out with the Delp family. They are now raising chickens so Magnolia had a blast with the baby chicks. She especially liked it because she loves to make the sound of a chicken and this was the first time that she could talk with a real chick! Thank you so much to Syd and Eli for helping Magnolia feel right at home! They made a play room for her full of slides, stuffed animals and many new toys to explore!
After a very relaxing time in Duluth we headed to the cities and saw some friends. The next day we got to drive to the airport and pick up David for the weekend! We headed back down to Owatonna for Mariah's wedding and for Magnolia's birthday.

Happy Birthday

Magnolia turned 1 on June 21! She celebrated her Birthday with both sets of Grandparents in Minnesota. She loved her balloon, gifts and especially her Birthday cake! She made sure to get every last bit of frosting-she even licked her plate to get it all.

Last few days in Idaho

Magnolia and I had a very busy last week in Idaho. We saw many dear friends and played a bunch. We found a really fun play gym that Magnolia loved. She was very busy crawling and exploring the whole thing. She had so much fun that we brought her daddy with us the next day for some more adventures! This will probably be my last blog for a week or two. Magnolia's birthday is June 21st so I will at least try to post some pics of that. We will be in Minnesota for the next few weeks and on June 30th will fly directly to our new home... Denver Colorado!

Sister bonding

The sisters have really enjoyed each other the past few days (they must know they are going to be apart for most of June!!). Magnolia and Ziggy went in the bike trailer together and went for a bike ride to the park. Both girls were all smiles the whole trip. The only mishap is that David ended up getting a flat tire on his bike and had to walk home.

Magnolia also has learned how to play tug with Ziggy and Zigs is loving it! It is so funny because Ziggy plays a lot more gentle with Magnolia than when we play with her.
