Keegan turned 6 months old today. Where has the time gone??? I swear it was just last week that he was an itty bitty newborn. I am so very happy and grateful that he is a healthy, happy, growing little guy but... I must admit... I get a bit sad thinking about how fast he is growing up! I feel like we waited for such a long time for a baby and poof! He is now an eating, rolling, swimming, laughing rockstar! There has not been a single day in the past 6 months that I have not thought about how lucky I am to have this little guy. He has added so much to our family and we love him to the moon and back. Happy half birthday Keegan Cooper!
My poor kids have big heads. They both are off the growth charts when it comes to the size of their heads. We try to get shirts that have very stretchy wholes or have snaps and buttons for easier dressing. Magnolia wore a shirt yesterday that when we went to get pajamas we had some issues. She was so funny, she came to me and said her shirt was stuck. I didnt believe her and thought she was just stalling. I then tried to pull the shirt off. Stuck. I ran and got the camera to get a picture and then pulled and pulled and pulled until I finally got it over her head. Whew!
We had a great Valentine's Day in our house. I made Magnolia heart shaped pancakes for breakfast, a heart shaped sandwich for lunch, and heart shaped pizza for dinner. Magnolia also made a pink cake with white frosting and LOTS of sprinkles for dessert. She even learned how to crack an egg! She was so excited to be a big girl and do the eggs. We did have to use 4 eggs to get 2 into the cake but our counter and floor look extra shiny with egg all over them! :) I couldnt imagine loving anyone more than I love David, Magnolia and Keegan so I was so happy to be able to celebrate this holiday with them!

Keegan had a very exciting week last week. He hit three milestones all within days of each other. He started eating food, went swimming and learned to roll over. I have been a bit slow uploading our videos but I am pretty sure it is worth the wait. Make sure you turn up your volume so you can hear Magnolia. She just really cracks me up. We had been watching him roll over for awhile and I just didnt catch it on video. You can tell she has seen him do it many times in a row and was pretty much done watching this new trick. So funny!

Magnolia's school had the most adorable time for moms last Saturday. Magnolia and I left the boys at home and got in the car to head for her school. I must admit, I was really excited to have this special time with my little munchkin. We were in the car a whole 45 seconds before she said "Gee mom, this isnt much fun without Keegan and Daddy." Oh thanks Magnolia! (Yes I know, it was VERY sweet of her to think and say that...) When we got to her school I dropped my adorable little girl off at her class and headed to the gym. I then sat down at a table with other moms from Magnolia's class and RELAXED! I was able to enjoy my brunch without having to hold a baby or help anyone get situated with their food. It was so nice and I truly enjoyed every moment. The kids had painted a picture of their mom and they decorated the gym with them. After a bit the kids came and sang us some songs and did a little program for us. So cute! When the kids went back to their class the teachers showed a picture that each child drew and then told what the kids said about their moms. I took a video of this part and will try to upload it to the blog soon. As I sat at this program I once again thought about how much I love being a mom. My children mean the world to me and I cant put into words how much I love them.
We took Keegan swimming for the first time last week. He was a bit unsure of the whole thing when we first put him in but then he realized how much fun it was. It was a great pool for his first time. It was nice and warm and had a very shallow part. He stayed in for over a half an hour. Big sister is so excited to finally have someone to swim with!
