New look for the blog
For some reason the website that I use for this blog made me re-do everything. I am still trying to figure everything out and get it how I like it. Thanks for being patient! I am also trying to figure out how to make the pictures bigger. I have learned that if you click on a picture it will make it bigger. You are then able to click through all of the pictures of that post.

Seriously? Could a little guy be any more adorable? I think not! He is at such a fun age right now. He seems to have new tricks every day and is just getting the sweetest little personality. He is really getting good at kisses and today he signed "more" when he wanted me to turn his toy on again! We have only been working with signing when he eats so I was so excited he signed when playing too!
Mother's Day

Dear Magnolia and Keegan,
Thank you for such a wonderful Mother's Day! I loved my breakfast in bed, snuggling with my little guy, watching you (Magnolia) learn to ride without training wheels and going out for dinner. Magnolia, I loved that you needed to wear a fancy princess dress, fairy wings and high heels when we went out for dinner. I also am very thankful for the adorable butterfly tile you made me at school! Keegan, I am so lucky that I got one of your sloppy kisses and that I got to see your new tooth when you gave me that award winning smile! I am so very lucky to have you two as my kids! I love you more than you will ever know and treasure every day with you! Thank you for being you and for everything you have given me. You have made my heart complete!
Love,
Mom

Take me out to the ball game

David got tickets to the Colorado Rockies baseball game on Friday night from on the the oral surgeons he refers patients to. Wow! The seats were incredible! They were 20 rows up from home plate. It was such a fun night and both kids did great! We got there early and walked around a bit. They have a couple of playgrounds in the stadium so we let Magnolia climb around for a bit. She also had it in her head that the night wouldnt be complete without some popcorn, a hotdog and a foam finger. She sat and cheered on the Rockies with all of her heart. They scored a couple of home runs so she really got to cheer hard then. Keegan ate a little, played a little, slept a little... pretty much everything that an 8 month old should do. Such fun family memories were made on Friday night!

Some more firsts

Keegan had 2 more firsts this past weekend. He sat and played in the grass for the first time and he got to go on a slide with his big sister. He was not to sure about the grass at first but then realized how fun and ticklish it can be. He quickly learned how to pull it out and sat for a very long time just playing with it. We also went to a new park. Magnolia was so excited when she saw they had a double slide and wanted to slide down with Keegan. She held his hand and they were both just so happy to play together.
Snow Day

Yesterday was a snow day here. All of the schools were closed. It was cold and cloudy and snowy. What a perfect day to stay inside and be creative! Magnolia was in such a fun mood yesterday and was just full of ideas. She decided that she needed to make a cat costume. So, she colored a whole bunch of papers, taped them together and then taped them onto herself. How can you be a cat without a mask? I got her a paper plate and then had to go up and feed Keegan. After a bit she came up wearing her cat outfit. I couldnt believe she made the mask all by herself! She cut out eye holes and even attached a string. Amazing! After being a cat we decided to try a new recipe for some brownies. She can now crack the eggs and loves to bake. She was so excited to serve her bars for dessert after dinner. So... she had me make some menus and after dinner she was our waitress. David and I put in our orders and we were told that we need to chit chat with each other and do not peek into the kitchen. After a few minutes our waitress brought over our dessert plates. They each had a brownie (with marshmallows that she added), some carrots, strawberries, banana and of course deli turkey meat. Mmmm! What a wonderful surprise! I couldnt think of any better way to end a wonderful snow day!
