Not a fan of my dinner
Valentines Day

We had a great Valentine's Day. David was off, Magnolia didn't have school, and Keegan and I just happened to be free too! :) We spent the day as a family and I couldn't think of a better way to spend this holiday! After having heart shaped pancakes for breakfast we took the kids to a new indoor play area where they have a bunch of inflatable jumpy houses and slides. Keegan was not a big fan of the inflatables but thank goodness they had other stuff there for him to climb on and play. Magnolia LOVED the jumpy castles and played hard the entire time we were there. After that we had a low key rest of the day and a nice dinner. After the kids went to bed David and I had some yummy chocolate and a glass of wine. Magnolia took the picture of David and I, and did a pretty good job! I wish we would have taken a few pictures of the 4 of us but we forgot! Oops!

Hat Day
Magnolia was learning about the letter "H" at school this last week. They even celebrated the letter with Hat Day. This is the hat Magnolia decided to wear, and yes, she also kept it on the top of her head. This reminded me a lot of my brother. When he was little he always wore his hats on the top of his head. I must admit though, I do not remember him looking nearly this cute!
Poor Little Guy
Well... Keegan has had his first major boo boo. (Yes, we are still waiting for Magnolia to get her first major boo boo!) He was practicing his walking skills when he fell right onto the corner of the wall. Ouch! It turned into a major goose egg and started to bleed. After lots of TLC, ice, and some medicine he was back to his ol' self. This picture was taken the next day, after the goose egg went down. It is no fun to see your child in so much pain. Thank goodness he is a trooper!
Date night

David and I took Magnolia out on date last week. She was SO excited! She set out the outfit she was going to wear the night before. She had no problem leaving her brother with the babysitter and walking out the door! She picked to go to Chuck E Cheese for our date night. She got to have pizza and soda... what a treat! She also got our undivided attention and am pretty sure she loved every second. (I must admit, I loved it too!) I think Keegan had a blast too, he got to spend the night with a pretty girl who showered him with attention! As much fun as we all had it was still the best feeling to come home and have the 4 of us together! Oh how I love my family!
Mom's Tea

Magnolia's school had their annual Mom's Tea yesterday. It was a wonderful morning. Magnolia and I left the boys at home and went to her school for some girl time. The moms were able to sit, relax, chat, eat some very yummy treats and watch a program that was put on by all of the preschoolers. Magnolia really does go to a wonderful school, they put together such a great morning for all of the moms!

And he's off!
He did it. Keegan started walking last night! Magnolia, David and I were sitting on the couch and Keegan was in the kitchen. All of the sudden I see his reflection in the fireplace and I see he is WALKING toward the couch!! I jumped up and said "OHHH!!! KEEGAN IS WALKING!!!!" Sure enough, he finally decided he was ready to walk! I grabbed the video camera and started to video all of his tries. I want you to notice the giant smile that is on his face for most of these tries! He was so happy and so excited to show off his new moves. What a big boy! Our lives just got a bit more interesting! :)

Snow!

I guess I should have not blogged about how wonderful our weather has been. I am now sitting here with almost a foot of snow on the ground and it is cold. Very cold. It will be cold all week. Ugh. The good news... Keegan finally got to play in the snow for the first time! I will say he liked it. Not loved it, liked it. I am not sure he has the same passion as his sister does for winter/cold/snow. But I must secretly admit... I am fine with that! I am not a big fan of winter/cold/snow either so maybe him and I will do lots of indoor fun while Magnolia and David have their fun outside. Speaking of David and Magnolia... they spent hours outside this weekend building an igloo. By the time it was finished there was plenty of room for Magnolia and Keegan to sit in there. Really cool!
