3 Months Old

Now that it is fall and Magnolia is 3 months old she is sporting some new layered looks including new sneakers!  

Thunderstorm

It rained last night here in Idaho. First time in 59 days!  Of course it was in the middle of the night, and there was thunder. Now, we dont get much thunder here so we were very surprised when one of our girls started crying because of the thunder.  I was expecting this girl to be Magnolia but it was Ziggy! Ziggy was going crazy and our other girl slept right through the whole thing! I guess the little sister needs to teach her older sister how to behave during a storm!  Good thing we dont get thunder very often.

A Day At The Baby Spa

Magnolia got pampered yesterday.  It started with a stress-relief bath. After her bath I gave her a full body massage using Chamomile and Vanilla lotion.  She loves her massages and I think could lay there forever!  In the afternoon she got to go on an adventure to get her nails trimmed.  David and I trimmed her nails once and it was not the most pleasant experience!  We now have our cousin Shelly trim her nails... a lot less stressful for everyone involved!

Here is Magnolia with her cousin Landon. He was so sweet and kind with her.  Landon always made sure Magnolia had a toy, and loved to make sure she was always strapped in.  He even tried to get her to eat some of his pickle!  I think they are going to be pals when she gets a little older and can play with him!  Aren't they just so sweet!

My brother, sister in law and nephew came to visit us this week from South Dakota. We had the most wonderful time! On Wednesday we stayed in a condo in McCall and relaxed.  We also toured around Boise and had lots of bonding time.  It was such a great time. We are very lucky to have them come out and visit!

First family trip out

We decided to take a trip to get ice cream tonight and thought it would be a good idea to bring Ziggy along.  This was the first time we have brought Ziggy since having Magnolia.  Ziggy thought that she should also be in a carseat... so she joined Magnolia in hers!  Ziggy was very careful when she climbed in and sat with Magnolia not to hurt her.  It was such a sight, I wish I had my camara!  You will have to enjoy these pictures instead!

Sockless In Seattle

We took Magnolia on her first trip out of state this weekend.  We flew to Seattle and she did great! She barely made a peep on both flights!  David and I are both very excited that we have a little travel bug.  We did learn that we now need to bring a lot more stuff when we travel and need to allow for a ton of extra time.  The days of carrying on our luggage is officially over!  We went to Pikes Market and watched them throw/catch the fish, went to the original Starbucks and just hung out in the nice cool weather.  David showed Magnolia how to properly eat a crab cake and not eat it in one bite like I  do.  All in all it was a great trip.  The only mishap was that Magnolia lost a sock while we were walking around the the market!
