Great Grandparents

We were able to sneak back to Sioux Falls New Years weekend to see my grandparents. It was so great to see them and spend some time with them! Keegan loved the wheel chair that my grandma uses because of a broken hip. He was even so sweet to give her a little push to get around!

Christmas fun

We had an absolutely perfect Christmas! It was just the 4 of us. We stayed comfy and cozy and just played and ate all day! The kids had an absolute blast opening their presents and I truly cherished every moment. I know just how fast they are growing up so I truly loved all of the magical moments!

Boy these kids must have been very good this year because they scored big with Santa! I guess Santa thought that since we moved to Minnesota we needed some hockey stuff!

On Christmas Eve morning I made the kids some very special pancakes! Ho ho ho! Merry Christmas!

We went looking at Christmas lights before Christmas and you will never believe it, but Santa was actually at one of the houses! How cool is that?!

Christmas card pictures

Ah Christmas cards. I have always loved doing them. I usually have several pictures to choose from and love picking out the perfect card. This year, Christmas snuck up on me and I just ran out of time. So, I tried to get a family picture. That was a flop. This one is the best I got! Then I tried to get just the kids. 200 pictures later I had a few. Here they are!

First Snow

Our first snow living in Minnesota came on Thanksgiving Day. The kids were so excited! We have a nice low key hill in our yard, perfect for their kind of sledding! The amazing news... Keegan LOVED being outside! His screams and cries of years past turned into giggles and asking for more! I am guessing the glasses made a huge difference! When you can actually see where you are going sledding is so much more fun!

Thanksgiving

We had a lovely Thanksgiving! David's parents and our sister in law, Katie and kids came to spend a few days with us. It was so fun to see the kids play with some of their cousins! For actual Thanksgiving Day we also had some of Katies family here. David and I cooked our first turkey... and it even tasted good!

Big boy bed

In November we decided to FINALLY take the front off Keegan's crib and turn it into a toddler bed. I will be the first one to admit that all of my resisting and thinking it was going to be horrible was wasted energy. He has done great! He really really loves it and has only fallen out of bed twice! He also stays in it (for the most part). Ah how my baby is growing up!
