Introducing Keegan Cooper!
With the warmest of hearts and pure joy in our voices we would like to introduce to you the newest addition to our family! Keegan Cooper Maki was born August 24th at 9:24 pm. He weighed in at 8 lbs 1 oz and is 21 inches long. He is a very healthy boy and is doing fantastic! He is absolutely the perfect addition to our family and we love him more than words can say! His big sister is doing amazing with him and is already such a little mother to him. She was SO excited to come to the hospital to meet her new little brother that she had to wear a beautiful dress! She brought him several gifts that she made and a very special soft duck that she picked out just for him. The two of them together are seriously the most adorable things I have ever seen. It bring tears to my eyes to see my 2 beautiful children together! I am truly the luckiest mom in the whole world!

Camping we will go
We went camping this past weekend. Well, David and Magnolia went camping. I must admit that being 37 weeks pregnant and sleeping in a tent did not sound very exciting to me, so I came home to sleep and went back the next day. Magnolia had an absolute blast and did great! We went with our friends Scott and Will and another family that are friends with Scott. Magnolia's favorite things... sleeping in the tent, having a picnic and having a smore. Magnolia had a pretty posh set up for bedtime. She had her own room in the tent, a nice comfy mat under her sleeping bag, and even got to watch a movie before falling asleep. Really roughing it huh?! (almost as bad as her mom going back to her own house with air conditioning and a bed with comfy pillows!!) What a great weekend! We cant wait to do it again next summer!
Baby in the belly
There are many days where Magnolia walks around with a baby in her belly. I realized this week that I hadnt taken any pictures of it and pretty soon she wont be doing it anymore! So, here she is in all of her adorableness pretending that she is also has a baby in her belly.

Butterfly pavilion
We met up with Bella, Kate and Olivia last weekend for a fun day at the Butterfly Pavilion. They were having a insect carnival, which was right up Magnolia's alley! She got to hold a tarantella, help build a worm habitat, play lots of games and jump in a jumpy castle. I am pretty sure if Magnolia does not become an astronaut she will do something in the field of bugs. She LOVES catching them, playing with them and making them little houses. I just wish I loved bugs/spiders/caterpillars/worms etc. as much as she does!

Mini Vacation
We went on a mini vacation this past week into the mountains. We had such an fantastic time! The weather was PERFECT for a pregnant girl... cloudy and cool with a few sprinkles here and there. It felt SO good not to be hot! We hung out at Winter Park for awhile the first day. Magnolia had a blast just walking around and exploring. She found a giant xylophone that her and David played. We also went to my favorite place in Colorado... Grand Lake. It was fun just to hang out by the water and smell the amazing fresh air. We also went on a chair lift up to the top of Sol Vista where Magnolia picked a bunch of wild flowers and made a beautiful bouquet of flowers. It was such a fantastic trip, wish we could have stayed longer! Its crazy to think the next time we go on a trip we will be bringing a baby!
Belly Pictures
Here are some pictures of my growing belly! I am currently 33 weeks along and can officially say we will have a new baby next month!
4th Of July
We celebrated our first 4th of July in our new neighborhood. We started the morning with a bike parade around the neighborhood. Magnolia had a blast decorating her bike and helmet. We then headed down to follow the fire truck around the neighborhood. After the big parade we got to sit in the park and eat watermelon. Magnolia even got to check out the inside of the fire truck. What an exciting morning!
