GO OKLAHOMA!

Here is Magnolia sporting her new Oklahoma shirt! (She also had to add one of my necklaces to top the outfit off!) She loves watching football and yells "GO GO GO!" when she sees the players running. We have started a Saturday night pizza and football tradition that I hope carries on for years to come. Her and I get black olive pizza while David eats his boring old cheese pizza. Magnolia thinks that she is really something because we have a picnic in the basement and she does not have to sit in her high chair to eat her dinner.

New table

Magnolia got a new table this week and it is absolutely perfect! She and David put it together the other night and boy was she a good helper! She helped her daddy every step of the way and of course, was the first one to try it out! I think she is going to have so much fun with this little table and already has had a friend over to try it out as well!

New stroller

After many many many months of researching (I should clarify and say David researched many many many months) we finally bought Magnolia a new stroller. We ordered it online and were so excited to get it. The day it came it was so cold and rainy out that we were not able to take it out for a spin. Magnolia was very disappointed and kept wanting to climb in and go for a ride. So, David and I spent the whole night taking turns wheeling Magnolia around and around our living room and kitchen. Needless to say, she is so in love with her new stroller... although she seems to have a very hard time deciding if she wants to ride in her new stroller, or practice her walking! :)

Sofie

Magnolia has a new friend named Sofie. We have had several play dates but I never remember to take pictures until this week! Magnolia and I went over to Sofie's house to play and boy did they have fun! They were very busy playing in the kitchen area and pushing each other on a fire truck. It is just so cute to see Magnolia interacting and playing with other kids!

Grammy and Pappa

David's parents were here a week ago so Magnolia got a lot of extra attention and TLC. She loved showing them all of her new tricks (including walking) and of course all of her cuteness! Magnolia kept them very busy on walks, blowing bubbles, swimming, shopping, playing in her toy loft and of course, watching many many trains.

Walking!

Magnolia learned how to walk on Wednesday evening! David had a brilliant idea of taking her to a park that has turf to practice walking. Sure enough... he knew what he was talking about. He set her on the turf and poof... she took some steps! We were so excited! The best part was that both of us got to see it! I then tried to get her to walk all day on Thursday and did not have any luck. David came home that night and what do you know... she walked to him! Guess she only wanted to walk for her daddy the first few days! :) This video is of her walking today. I must say, she is the most adorable little walker I have ever seen. She concentrates so hard but gets so excited at the same time!

Out for a hike

We took a day trip to Nederland, CO and went for a hike. Magnolia had a great time and sang at the top of her lungs the whole time. No need to worry about running into bears when you have Magnolia along! I think David was ready for some ear plugs by the time the day was over... he got to hear her beautiful singing voice up close and personal! On our way back to our Jeep we noticed some dark clouds getting close so we started to pick up the pace a bit. We got back to our car, got buckled in and were just driving away when it started to rain and hail!
